Seattle Center Festál: Tết Festival – Vietnamese Lunar New Year offers entertainment, exploration and insights into the culture of Vietnam, January 29 – 30, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. in Center House.

Craft bookmarks, create an apricot blossom boutonniere and express your inner artist through painting workshops. Revisit thousands of years of the Vietnamese history at this festive New Year celebration as you immerse in the dance, traditional music performance, visual and martial arts of Vietnam.

Tết in Seattle is celebrating its 15th year with the participation of:

  • Traditional music performer Kim Uyen
  • Fashion Designer: Lizzy Tran (London)
  • Well known Vietnamese singers Nhu Quynh, Duy Truong, Tu Quyen, Huynh Gia Tuan

The 21 Seattle Center Festál cultural celebrations highlight the common forms of tradition and expression among ethnic communities in the Pacific Northwest, while underscoring their unique creative contributions, customs, foods and ideals.
