Free Summer Fitness Starts June 19
Seattle Center Summer Fitness celebrates the season with healthy, fun and free outdoor fitness opportunities for neighbors, visitors, and those who work in the area. Come on down and join the fun! Lunchtime and evening outdoor fitness sessions are open to all ages and abilities:
Zumba® Class – Instructor Daniel Santos of Bahia in Motion adds his Brazilian flavor to hypnotic Latin and World rhythms to create a fun and dynamic workout with easy to follow steps. No prior dance experience is necessary. Water, towel, workout clothes, and comfortable sneakers are suggested.
Gentle Yoga – Instructor Terri Dyer of Home Yoga and Wellness Center encourages participants to gently stretch their bodies and breathe stress away while having fun and enjoying lots of fresh air. The class focuses on fluid movements to increase range of motion and joint and muscle flexibility. A yoga mat is required.
