New Year’s Eve at Seattle Center

Ring in 2013 at Seattle Center at a special Winterfest New Year’s Eve celebration on Monday, Dec. 31.  Enjoy FREE, live music by The Rhythm Nation, 8:15 p.m. – 11:45 p.m. on Seattle Center Armory Stage, playing a diverse mix of popular dance, R&B and rock from the 1970’s to today; purchase a wide range of fresh foods at Armory food merchants and take in the festive Seattle Center Winterfest outdoor lighting and indoor decoration (including Winter Train & Village), while you await a brilliant display of New Year’s fireworks off the 605-foot Space Needle.

Seattle Center Monorail has extended its hours to accommodate New Year’s Eve revelers. It will remain until 1 a.m. on Jan. 1. However, due to safety regulations, the Monorail trains will not operate between approximately 11:15 p.m. and 12:20 a.m., when the Fire Marshall gives the “all clear.”

Winterfest Ice Rink in Fisher Pavilion will be open 11 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. Admission includes skate rental and is $7 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12, $2 children ages 5 and under (cash only).
