Uptown Planning Open House, Oct. 8

You’re invited to help us shape how Uptown grows. Please join Seattle Department of Planning and Development (DPD) and Seattle Center at an Uptown planning open house, Thursday, Oct. 8, 5:30pm – 8pm, in the Allen Foundation for the Arts Room at Marion Oliver McCaw Hall.

If you live or work in the neighborhood, you won’t want to miss this event. You’ll have an opportunity to:

  • Get a copy of the draft Uptown Urban Design Framework.
  • Provide Environmental Impact Study (EIS) scoping comments on three Uptown rezone alternatives.
  • Learn about the upcoming Seattle Center and Uptown Strategic Parking Study.
  • Learn about new initiatives, including an emerging Uptown Cultural District, citywide housing affordability policies, and proposed regional transit improvements.

Visit DPD’s website at DPD/Uptown. Light snacks provided. Enter McCaw Hall from Mercer St., or park in Mercer Parking Garage, located between 3rd and 4th avenues north. Location is ADA accessible.
