CroatiaFest reveals this rich and distinctive culture through folk dancing, music, foods and more. The festival’s theme this year, “Croatian Women: Tradition Bearers,” delves into their unique and influential place in Croatian history and society.
From classical and popular music to pasta and wine, Festa Italiana Seattle is a “Celebration of All Things Italian.” Food vendors, crafts, a wine garden, puppet theatre, bocce ball tournaments, grape-stomping competitions, Italian films and much more honor the “old country” and transform Seattle Center into a little Italy.

A new project to green and beautify a Seattle Center entry point at the north end of the campus will begin this month. Theater Commons, a first phase project of the Seattle Center Century 21 Master Plan, will occupy an area that has served as a parking area between the Seattle Repertory and Intiman Theatres, adding 1.5 acres of open space as a final step in the long-term process of consolidating parking in garages around the campus.
