Seattle Center is thrilled to welcome Blue Water Taco Grill to Seattle Center Armory. The newest site of this Seattle-based provider of fresh coastal style Mexican food opens this week with a mouthwatering menu and welcoming, full-service bar.
Blue Water Taco Grill enlivens the large, open southwest section of the Armory Food Atrium with the brilliant colors of coastal Mexico and southern California. The restaurant is proud to offer the foods and flavors of these regions including fresh salsas, steak, fish, shrimp and local produce. Blue Water provides several healthy food options and great value overall.
“We offer our customers a virtual trip to the tropics, where they can escape from the rush of outside life, soak in our warm atmosphere and flavors and just relax for a brief part of their day. The Armory presents the perfect place for kids and their parents, visitors of all sorts, to enjoy that experience,” said Blue Water Taco Grill Founder Dave de Varona.
The restaurant’s arrival completes the culinary retooling of the Armory Food Atrium. Now visitors may order a vast variety of food and beverages from eateries offering fresh, fun and delicious fare. Blue Water Taco Grill joins a cadre of now well establish Armory eateries including: Bean Sprouts Cafe & Cooking School, Bigfood BBQ, Ceres Roasting Company, The Confectional, Eltana Wood-Fired Bagel Café, Kabab, MOD Pizza, Pie, Plum Pantry, Quincy’s, Seattle Fudge, Skillet : Counter, Starbucks and Subway.
“We have put great focus and effort into updating the Armory to strongly appeal to contemporary tastes and sensibilities, while continuing to accommodate the broad spectrum of activities and visitors who fill the space. Looking past the eateries, Armory visitors will notice more recent changes to the building including the addition of a Customer Service Center adjacent to the Armory Mainstage and expansive — and beautifully refurbished — events and meetings spaces, named the Armory Loft, just above the Atrium area.
