April 17: Friday Night Lights

Friday Night Lights

Join the Seattle Fire Department beginning this Friday for ‘FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS’. Fire engines and ladder trucks from all fire stations will drive slowly through a portion of their fire districts from 7-8 p.m. targeting highly residential streets and areas with assisted living and long-term care facilities. Bring your kids and family members to the window or doorstep of your house and make some noise as the rigs drive by! Firefighters will flash their lights to let you know that they are here to serve and we are #SeattleTogether during this challenging time of battling COVID-19.

Fire districts in the City have been divided up into a north and south zone for each week. On April 17 crews will target the NORTH end of each fire district. View the online map to see this week’s target area: https://bit.ly/2ykFlS0

Disclaimer: Firefighters will not be able to drive through every Seattle street, but will do their best to make it to as many areas as possible.
