As our region and the world transition from a time of isolation to a return to public gathering, Seattle Center is just beginning to dip our toes into the notion of in-person events. As Seattle Center heads into the summer season, many activities on the grounds will resume. Here are things to do on campus and online this Summer at the Center

You can grab and go from Seattle Center Armory food vendors starting July 1, 10am-6pm daily. We’re live streaming our annual Naturalization Ceremony at noon on July 2. The ceremony, smaller than in past years, swears in 60 candidates from many nations as new citizens of the United States.  Seattle Opera is presenting Songs of Summer LIVE! outdoors at Opera Center later this month, and Wooden O Shakespeare in the Park will present The Comedy of Errors, July 25. Movies at the Mural returns on Friday and Saturday at dusk, July 31-Aug 28, at Mural Amphitheatre. Friday films are presented in partnership with community film organizations. Check-out the line-up online. Several Seattle Center Festál also take place virtually this summer. Summer Fitness also returns, on Wednesdays, July 7-Sept. 8, with el fresco Gentle Yoga at 11:30am and Zumba at 6:30pm.

Or just stop by for a walk around the grounds. A renovated International Fountain reopens July 1, and the campus is steeped in outdoor art, one of the largest and most significant collections in our region, more than 45 significant works. Or if you’d like to escape the heat (or rain), visit Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass
