Fisher Pavilion at Seattle Center

12/6 UPDATE: The Fisher Pavilion cold weather shelter will continue operations through Friday morning December 9.

With freezing temperatures and snow hitting our area, Fisher Pavilion at Seattle Center will be open November 29 starting at 7:00 p.m. to provide an overnight shelter for people 18+ experiencing homelessness. It will remain open overnight, and close at 9:00 a.m. in the morning. Due to low temperatures this overnight shelter will provide place that people have some respite from the elements.  At this time, the shelter is expected to remain open through the morning of Wednesday, December 7.

The building will be staffed by The Salvation Army and is being opened as an emergency severe weather shelter at the request of the King County Regional Homelessness Authority (KCRHA) in partnership with the City of Seattle.
