SEATTLE – Celebrate MLB All-Star Week at Seattle Center with free events for the entire family. Featured events include the official All-Star Week Drone Show on Sunday, July 9; Viewing Parties for both the T-Mobile Home Run Derby and All-Star Game; and All-Star movie nights on Monday, July 10 – ‘The Sandlot’ at 9:30 pm and Tuesday, July 11 – ‘A League of their Own’ at 9:30 pm. Come join the fun!

MLB All-Star events and attractions at Seattle Center include:

MLB All-Star Drone Show at the Space Needle (Sunday, July 9th just after 10 p.m.) – The MLB All-Star Drone Show takes off Sunday night, July 9 at the Space Needle. Six hundred lighted drones will create stunning baseball-themed visuals and iconic Seattle scenes 400 feet above ground, set to a soundtrack of baseball classics and summertime music. The show starts just after 10 p.m. and is free to the public. Baseball fans, visitors, and Seattleites are all invited to watch from the International Fountain Lawn in the heart of Seattle Center. The 18-minute drone flight will take off from the Mural Amphitheatre at Seattle Center and fly between 200 and 400 feet above ground, next to the Space Needle.

T-Mobile Home Run Derby Watch Party (Monday, July 10 at 5 p.m.) – Enjoy a special Free Viewing Party of the T-Mobile Home Run Derby Broadcast Live from T-Mobile Park on the big screen in the Seattle Center Armory on Monday, July 10 at 5 p.m.

MLB All-Star Movie Night – The Sandlot (Monday, July 10 at 9:30 p.m.) – After the T-Mobile Home Run Derby at T-Mobile Park on Monday night, July 10th, Seattle Center plays host to the first of two FREE baseball-themed movie nights starting just after sunset. With the Derby beginning at 5 pm, visitors and locals alike will have plenty of time to extend their baseball evenings into the night, as are all invited to watch The Sandlot at the Mural Amphitheatre in the heart of Seattle Center.

MLB All-Star Game Presented by Mastercard Watch Party (Tuesday, July 11 at 5 p.m.) – The MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard returns to Seattle for the first time in 22 years and only the third time ever. Now, a new generation of All-Stars are taking MLB to new heights with more on-field energy and excitement than ever before. Witness their unparalleled skill, athleticism, and passion for the game on Tuesday, July 11, when the 93rd Midsummer Classic arrives at T-Mobile Park. Watch for free on the Big Screen in the Seattle Center Armory!

MLB All-Star Movie Night – A League of Their Own (Tuesday, July 11 at 9:30 p.m.) After the All-Star Game presented by Mastercard on Tuesday, July 11, Seattle Center invites everyone to close out All-Star Week with another FREE baseball movie, A League of Their Own, back at the Mural Amphitheatre starting just as the sun sets with a viewing party in the shadow of the Space Needle.

MLB Art Installation – Conceived by local muralist Brady Black, the Seattle Center Monorail columns are adorned with murals depicting eight stars of the game and eight Seattle sports fans, signifying the connection between baseball and the greater community. In designing the murals, Black developed a paint-by-number system that allowed youth artists from Urban ArtWorks and Seattle residents to take part in their creation. Art installation is in partnership with Visit Seattle, Seattle Monorail Services, Seattle Center, and Climate Pledge Arena.

Photo Opportunity – Take a photo with a big baseball located on the Thomas Street ramp that leads up to the Seattle Center Monorail platform. The baseball is about 5’x5’x5′.
