Links below will open new windows.

SEATTLE – Starting the New Year off, Seattle Center will offer fun weekly Workout Wednesdays Winter Fitness sessions from Jan. 31-April 3, 2024. Presented by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, the free yoga and Zumba® classes allow participants to increase range of motion, breathe through life’s stresses and just move. These “drop-in” sessions are open to all ages and experience levels.

Zumba® Class, Wednesdays at 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Ditch the workout and join the party! Zumba® is all about the energy, the music, and having fun while doing something good for your body. Come join us for an adventurous journey around the world through exhilarating Latin music, World Rhythms, West African, belly dance, dancehall, pop, classic rock- you name it. The result – a workout full of high energy, easy to follow choreography, and FUN. It will get your heart pumping, get you sweaty, and put a big smile on your face. Everyone is welcome. No dance experience required. Please bring plenty of water and wear comfortable sneakers. Instructor: Bonnie Wang.

Gentle Yoga, Wednesdays at 7:30-8:30 p.m.

This class is for everyone, no matter what age or fitness level. Utilize vinyasa style flows to cultivate space, physically and mentally, while easing into the body to release tension throughout. You’ll flow through a series of postures allowing the breath to guide you, offering time to rest, reassure, and retry various postures. A perfect way to begin to find the connection of the body to the mind. Please bring your own yoga mat or towel. Instructors: Iza Narag.

All classes are held indoors in the Armory. For more information on Winter Fitness and other Seattle Center programming, visit Fitness Series: Workout Wednesdays (seattlecenter.com)
