Join us as we kick-off Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Month! This free festival showcases diverse Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in Washington, represented by more than 40 countries with distinct cultural groups, heritages, languages, and customs.
PERFORMANCES
Martial arts demonstrations and traditional and contemporary dances, drill teams, and diverse musical performances from student-run UW organizations and local performing arts groups
KEXP 90.3 FM broadcasts live throughout the day
CULTURAL DISPLAYS & ACTIVITIES
The annual Alan Sugiyama Hum Bow Eating Contest, plus interactive activities for all ages including a scavenger hunt, gashapon and claw machines, onstage trivia game, and Pokémon teaching tables
Cultural display booths by multiple nations, sharing the histories
for this month-long celebration
FOOD & RETAIL VENDORS
Wide selection of local AANHPI retail and craft vendors, plus unique food options from food trucks and vendors located outside the Armory building
