This lively, family-friendly event fosters understanding, respect, friendship, and appreciation between Chinese and other local communities through arts and culture.
Have fun while learning about Chinese folk dances, music, visual arts, cuisines, and cultural traditions.
PERFORMING ARTS
Traditional and mixed Chinese dance performances by Happy Dance Studio, Jin Ting Dance School, and Melody Institute.
Chinese music performances by Seattle Chinese Youth Ensemble (Seattle Chinese Orchestra), Zje Mongol, Ge Chinese School, and Seattle Chinese Arts Group.
Martial arts performances by Wudang Internal Martial Arts Academy and Chinese Wushu & Taichi Academy.
VISUAL ARTS
Arts and crafts painting and calligraphy. Includes children’s painting and a Children’s Art Awards by American Academy of Fine Arts.
Chinese Fashion Shows featuring traditional outfits.
VENDORS
Enjoy delicious food, including Himalayan Dumplings from Nepal, Grandpa’s Sweet Rice Desserts, Tacos EI Yo Yo, and 2 Guys Grill on Wheels.
Savor tea from Tea Purrson’s Studio and the Tea Fairy.
A lively vendor marketplace featuring traditional Chinese clothing, gifts, and accessories.
