Seattle Center is the place to be on December 31 as we say goodbye to 2025 and welcome 2026 with a spectacular night of entertainment, celebration, and community spirit. New Year’s at the Center presented by Alaska Airlines offers something for everyone — from live music and comedy to immersive light shows and one of the nation’s most iconic fireworks displays.

Evening Highlights

Fortune Feimster at McCaw Hall – 7:00 p.m.
Kick off the night with laughter! Beloved comedian Fortune Feimster brings her new show Takin’ Care of Biscuits to Seattle for one night only. Known for her Netflix specials and TV roles, Feimster’s Southern charm and hilarious storytelling make this ticketed event a must-see.

Blue Wave Band Live in the Armory – 8:00 p.m.
Get ready to dance! The Blue Wave Band brings their soulful, high-energy performance to the Armory for a free show that will keep the party going all night. Armory eateries will be open until 11:30 p.m., and the building stays open until 1 a.m.

Fountain of Light Dance Party – 9:00 p.m.
Head to the International Fountain for a vibrant outdoor celebration. DJ Arson Nicki spins the beats while video artist Sean Waple transforms the fountain waters into a shimmering canvas of projected visuals starting at 10 p.m.

Alaska Airlines New Year’s at the Needle – 11:53 p.m.
The night culminates in a breathtaking 18-minute drone and fireworks show from the Space Needle.

  • 500 illuminated drones kick off the countdown
  • Fireworks launch at midnight
  • Bonus: Enjoy choreographed light shows on the Needle at 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, and 11:30 p.m.

Know Before You Go

  • Armory Hours: Open 8 a.m. – 1 a.m. | Eateries open until 11:30 p.m.
  • Monorail Service:
    • Runs until 10:30 p.m.
    • Pauses for fireworks safety (10:30 p.m.–12:20 a.m.)
    • Final departure to downtown at 1 a.m.
    • Enter via Armory’s southwest doors
  • Exclusion Zones:
    • Safety zones near the Space Needle begin at 4:30 p.m.
