Seattle Center Festál: CroatiaFest 2010 “Culture and Sport,” Sunday, Oct. 3, 12 noon – 8 p.m. in Center House, celebrates the vitality and distinctiveness of the Croatia homeland, provides a glimpse inside one of the last undiscovered treasures of Europe and honors an integral part of the Croatian culture: sport.

CroatiaFest reveals this rich and distinctive culture through folk dancing, music, foods and more. The festival’s theme this year, “Croatian Women: Tradition Bearers,” delves into their unique and influential place in Croatian history and society.
From classical and popular music to pasta and wine, Festa Italiana Seattle is a “Celebration of All Things Italian.” Food vendors, crafts, a wine garden, puppet theatre, bocce ball tournaments, grape-stomping competitions, Italian films and much more honor the “old country” and transform Seattle Center into a little Italy.
